“We spent five days in Singapore at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel. We specifically booked three rooms with a view of Marina Bay on the 18th floor. The view of Marina Bay would likely be amazing under normal circumstances, but ongoing construction right outside the hotel windows spoils it. Who knows when the construction work will be finished; while it is not very noticeable at night, the towering cranes certainly ruin the view during the day. Therefore, for the time being, it’s probably not worth paying extra money for a Marina Bay vie and book the cheaper rooms facing the other side of the hotel.|As for the service, the hotel certainly lives up to its 5-star status; there are absolutely no complaints there. Housekeeping and the turndown service—with water and a chocolate left by the bedside—were top-notch. They noticed that my son was reading a book and immediately provided several bookmarks. The staff is highly professional and ready to help at a moment's notice; any issue is resolved instantly.|However, the hotel is in need of renovation, and the rooms are in need of a cosmetic refresh. This is evident from the conditions of the furniture...|We had the breakfast included, and it was truly excellent. Even though the restaurant was crowded, I never noticed anyone running out of anything; as soon as a dish ran low, a fresh one appeared immediately. There was plenty of fruit, pastries, juices, and fresh-squeezed juice for everyone.|We had dinner at the hotel a couple of times; the food was decent, though the prices were certainly unreasonably high. Fortunately, the hotel offered a 50% discount on dinners after 9:00 PM.|Singapore itself is, of course, an amazing country—one that built its prosperity without having any natural resources or even much land... Certain other countries ought to take a good look at this when deciding how to spend their money.|I would recommend The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, but only on the condition that the construction work in front of the hotel is finished and the property undergoes a cosmetic renovation.”

“A wonderful hotel with beautifully appointed with matching polished wood furniture and spacious rooms and views even if you are not directly facing the marina. The bathrooms too have phenomenal views. The breakfast buffet is gorgeous as it befits the brand. The public spaces are all beautiful in vintage gold and wood tones. Service and housekeeping are both superb. So why the one star deduction? This property doesn’t participate in the Bonvoy loyalty program! This is a major omission for the Marriott flagship brand.”

“We had an amazing stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore! The service from all the staff was outstanding, especially the front desk team who upgraded us to a beautiful suite as we were celebrating our anniversary. I didn’t catch her name, but one of the staff members (she looked Korean) was incredibly helpful and professional, and check-in was an absolute breeze. The Guest Experience team surprised us with a small cake to celebrate our special occasion, and it was delicious! Such a thoughtful and memorable touch. A small pity that part of the Marina Bay view was blocked by ongoing renovations, otherwise it would have been absolutely perfect. That said, we still loved the bathtub overlooking the view outside. It was such a relaxing and luxurious experience. We had a wonderful time overall and truly felt taken care of. I highly recommend The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore to anyone looking for exceptional service and a luxurious experience.”

“I had a wonderful stay, and the highlight was definitely the breathtaking view from the Premier Suite. Truly one of the best I’ve experienced.However, the Club Lounge experience could be improved. While the five daily culinary presentations were a nice touch, the variety was quite limited. I would have appreciated a wider selection of dishes to enhance the overall experience.”
